Broker (noun<\/em>): is an individual or a business (a corporation) who is licensed to represent a party in a real estate transaction for compensation. The broker charges the fee, usually a commission, and the salesperson<\/a> is paid from the broker\u2019s fee. There are several possible broker designations with a firm such as principal broker<\/a>, associate broker<\/a>, and management level licensee<\/a>.<\/p>\n
