Affordable housing is housing specifically designated for families under certain limited income levels.

Usually these types of housing are funded by local government funds. They are usually apartment buildings or complexes that provide housing for lower income families.

In order for any family to occupy the building, they cannot exceed a limit on income. Individuals and families each have their own different income limits.

Incomes must be proven with pay stubs and/or tax returns.
