Broker Definition

Broker (noun): is an individual or a business (a corporation) who is licensed to represent a party in a real estate transaction for compensation. The broker charges the fee, usually a commission, and the salesperson is paid from the broker’s fee. There are several possible broker designations with a firm such as principal broker, associate broker, and management level licensee.
