1. A legal claim placed on all of the real and personal property of a judgment debtor which enables a judgment creditor to have the property of the debtor sold for payment of the amount of the judgment.
2. A general lien (good for 10 years) created by a court ordering a debtor to pay a certain amount of money to the judgment creditor. The lien will bind to the debtor's real property once an abstract of the judgment is recorded.
